Siting
Evaluation of potential sites is a critical first step in project development. Elements of consideration include environmental impacts, access to fuel and electrical transmission, community involvement, and regulatory priorities.
Design
A conceptual design must be developed in order to begin permitting activities. The design must take into account the overall aim of the project, cost control, and environmental restrictions. Inland Group’s role will be to coordinate the differing elements into a single cohesive effort.
Permitting
Inland Energy will oversee the process for obtaining all necessary permits. Our professionals will review all documents for completeness and accuracy prior to submittal and will also be the primary point of contact for interfacing with regulatory agencies.
Interconnection
Utility interconnection points, such as fuel, electricity, and water, must be determined prior to permitting activities in order to provide the information to the regulators. Inland Energy will take the lead in determining the optimal tie in points for all of those services.
Local Agencies
Inland Energy works very closely with the local agencies to obtain utilities, permits and political approvals as well as community support for the project. One of Inland Energy’s unique attributes is that it has established lasting relationships with local agencies since its inception.
